Dr. Owusu-Ansah has a passion for injustice and righteousness as seen through the eyes of a sociologist/scientist. His vast experience and research qualifies his findings and brings light to subject not given enough attention in todays world. Sought as a speaker in many academic circles, Dr. Owusu-Ansah is also vocal in the politics and civic correctness of his native homeland in Ghana West Africa.

Dr. Owusu-Ansah has extensive and varied skills that have qualified him to write a very important and timely piece on farming and agriculture in Uganda. This book may very well set precedents and become a monitoring tool as it examines the field extension officers and rural farmers of Uganda and the policies of the government and its exposure of corruption and inefficiency and prejudice against women and youth in a male dominated governed industry, heavily populated by a majority of women and youth farmers.

Having received a research grant from the rockefeller Foundation in 1995 to 1996, Dr. Owusu-Ansah studied farmers in rural Uganda. Based upon his degrees and skills in statistical analysis, formulating hypotheses and empirical studies, quantitative and qualitative research methods Dr. Owusu-Ansah is qualified in his findings and opinions.
